Royalty Reigns In North Park

A group of young ladies has been working hard to put together the greatest event in the county, our local rodeo. For the last six months they have been promoting the North Park Never Summer Rodeo and corresponding with other royalty and sponsors. In the next week they will be hard at it doing radio interviews, shaking hands and taking pictures. When you see their smiles you know they love what they are doing and are well deserving of the crown they wear. Today I introduce to you the royalty of the North Park Never Summer Rodeo and share their biography's. Thank you for all you do to promote our event and make it such a huge success ladies.

You can celebrate these ladies accomplishments next Friday, June 23rd at the Rodeo Kickoff Concert and Royalty Buckle Presentation. Their royalty buckles are sponsored by L4 Livestock (Mark and Kelly Ward) and Young Life Oils (Trixie Carlstrom). They host a silent auction throughout rodeo to benefit the cost of travel and appearance's they participate in during the summer. Their coordinators are Diana Hurt and Kyan Jenkins, both former rodeo queens in North Park.

Kacie Babcock, Queen~ I was born in Greeley, Colorado in 2000 and eventually ended up in amazing North Park just over 4 years ago. My parents are Jody and Erin Babcock and I have a little brother Monte, who is 5 years old. I am an upcoming Senior at North Park High School– I can’t believe I’m almost done! I participate in both 4-H as the Wranglers 4-H Club President and in FFA as the chapter Secretary. I love helping and working on the ranch my dad manages here in Jackson County and helping my neighbors on their places also. I love to show horses in the English, Western and the Ranch Horse Versatility divisions as well as showing my breeding cows and market steers. This will be the 2nd year I have shown my filly I trained on my own and I am looking forward to sharing her growth. I am excited to serve this year as your Queen!
