Fishing/Conditions Report

Lake John/Delaney Butte/Cowdrey Lakes

05, November, 2018

Good morning,

The temperatures have dropped here at Lake John and we received some snow over the last couple of days. Nothing major and the roads are already melting (see picture from this morning attached). In the past week we’ve seen low’s in the 20’s and high’s in the 40’s, consistently. Fishing is still very active here at Lake John. Gold Kastmasters, worms and garlic power bait are all doing good right now. We are seeing 17-19.5” fish pretty regularly here right now!

No ice yet at Lake John, the Delaney’s or Cowdrey, in case you are wondering. We will keep you posted.

Hunting season is well on its way and we are currently in 3rd rifle season. I’ve attached some pictures of success in 1st and 2nd rifle from some of our cabin guests! Congratulations to them and thank you for staying with us!

Enjoy the rest of your week. Please stop by and share your fishing/hunting pictures and updates with us.
