North Park is a true hidden gem offering a great quality of life, well rounded education and great opportunities!

I'm ready for retirement.

We have an active Senior Center and a community that looks out for the Senior community.  Many volunteer in local groups such as reading at the library or working front desks.  Our community INDOOR pool offers aquatic classes for seniors.  high school students volunteer to bring firewood to its Seniors as well.  There is the OATS (Older American Transportation Service) that provides transportation to larger cities for shopping, doctor appointments and entertainment purposes.

What kind of opportunites are there for my children to be involved and well rounded in a small town?

TONS!  Our community always has something happening for kid.  Sports through the school, little league baseball, swimming, community pep band, 4H, girl and boy scouts, story hour at the library... we could keep going!  There is something for kids of all ages, and adults alike to be involved.

I need entertainment! What is there to do here?

Bowling league at The Tenth Frame is a big deal in North Park to beat cabin fever.  Did I say we are an outdoor mecca for fun?  Fishing year round, hunting, hiking, hot air ballooning, biking, rodeo, there is always something to do here.  Colorado State Forest State Parks has a Moose Visitor Center if you are interested in wild creatures that roam the park.  We also are home to the Arapahoe National Wildlife Refuge, the second largest migratory bird refuge in the country.  History lovers we invite you to check out the North Park Pioneer Museum, a one of a kind facility that rivals the Smithsonian in authenticity of pioneer artifacts.

What about shopping needs?

We are blessed...there's a local North Park Supers grocery store, a Family Dollar and North Park Meats butcher shop.  In addition we receive delivery from Bountiful Baskets, Alisons Pantry and Colorado Food Bank.  Many shop alternatively at ThriveMarket.com and Drugstore.com for basic needs.

Timberline Builders Supply has a large selection of hardware, ranch supplies, clothing and feed.  We have a nice selection of restaurants, two liquor stores, two gas station and a fuel/propane bulk plant as well.  There's numerous artist studios and gift shops tucked away throughout the county too.

What kind of medical services are available

Basic medical needs can all be met within North Park.  The North Park Medical Clinic is a full service medical facility with a doctor and physicians assistant on staff.  Our EMT/Ambulance service is second to non providing our community with unparalled emergency service.  It's an hour to a dentist, eye doctor or more specialized service.  We have many recommendations for close service under the Medical Care page.

I'm interested but need a job!
