Room To Roam Under The Stars
Eagles Wing Ranch sits at 8,200 feet; bordered by dramatic peaks in a spectacular high mountain valley known as North Park, Colorado. Built in 2008, the 5 bedroom lodge sits on our family owned and operated bison ranch in the old minding town of Coalmont. We are about 30 minutes southwest of Walden on CO Highway 14.
Head past our entrance and you'll enter into the Routt National Forest. Excellent fishing and hunting in the area. We are the ideal home base for snowmobilers and ATV enthusiasts alike. Plentiful hiking trails and camping sites are located nearby. Enjoy world class skiing or go for a soak at the hot springs in Steamboat Springs, just 50 minutes away. In late summer and early fall, take a scenic drive over Buffalo Pass. The fall colors are awe-inspiring when the leaves are at their peak!
Wildlife viewers and birdwatchers', this is your paradise! Moose, elk, deer, antelope and eagles are frequently seen in the area. With jaw-dropping sunrises and sunsets, the views out of your windows are nothing short of a photographers dream. Enjoy your coffee while watching our buffalo roam! Count the stars and see the Milky Way after an evening around the fire pit.
Our guest home includes a full kitchen, pool table, wood-burning stove, laundry room, garage and BBQ grill. Lodging accommodations sleep 10. We have Wi-Fi available as well. There is no land line but we do have cell service (AT&T is most reliable).
